What We Do

As a non-profit organization, Codewit Global Network (CGN) advances its mission by partnering with community-based organizations (CBOs), associations, and cooperatives across Africa and around the world. Through these partnerships, we support community development efforts that strengthen education, healthcare, youth empowerment, women’s rights, and sustainable economic opportunities.

CGN works closely with local partners to build socially responsible, income-generating enterprises that uplift communities. By connecting these organizations to new markets—particularly in Nigeria—we help increase their revenue, expand their impact, and amplify global awareness of their work.

Our Core Areas of Work

• Technical Assistance & Capacity Strengthening

We provide hands-on training, mentorship, and strategic support to ensure the long-term success of partners’ economic and community-development initiatives. Our goal is to help organizations achieve financial resilience and sustainable impact.

• Supporting Community-Led Development

CGN strengthens initiatives that promote:

  • Meaningful learning and quality education
  • Improved healthcare and access to essential services
  • Full and equal participation of women in society
  • Safe, fair, and dignified employment opportunities

• Global Learning & Social Justice Education

We offer individuals, schools, companies, and civic groups accessible ways to engage with global development issues. Through workshops, school programs, seminars, and digital learning tools, we help people:

  • Understand global inequalities
  • Promote social justice
  • Contribute to improving lives worldwide

• Fundraising Support for Schools & Nonprofits

CGN provides innovative, ethical fundraising programs that help schools, NGOs, and community projects generate essential funding for their operations and long-term stability.

Our Work with Community-Based Organizations

Most of our partner CBOs place a strong emphasis on women’s empowerment and are often founded, led, and managed by women. Their programs span a wide range of transformative community services, such as:

• Literacy Programs for Women

Empowering women with the skills needed for education, employment, and independence.

• Family & Child Health Initiatives

Improving access to basic healthcare, health education, and essential family support services.

• Women’s Rights & Gender Equality Programs

Addressing discrimination, advocating for equal rights, and supporting survivors of gender-based violence.

• Business Training & Microenterprise Development

Providing women and youth with the tools to launch and grow small businesses, creating pathways out of poverty.

• Educational Support for Children

Ensuring school access, providing supplies, and offering after-school or mentoring programs.

• Early Childhood Development

Supporting young children’s cognitive, emotional, and physical development during their most critical years.

• Leadership Training & Advocacy

Building the next generation of African leaders who can influence policy, mobilize communities, and champion social change.
